5 new members of PRC BON appointed

Five new members of PRC Board of Nursing (BON) has been reportedly appointed and qualified by the President, as the list went viral in nursing community.prc board of nursing

Carl Balita first hinted about the new appointees in his Facebook page, adding that the new members will join Chair Carmencita Abaquin and Pearl Po in the Board composition. Here are the newly-appointed members and their credentials:

Concentration: Nursing Education/Research

Former National President, Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing
Member, Technical Committee on Nursing Education, CHED
Filipino Nurse Theorist

2. Gloria B. Arcos, PhD, RN
Concentration: Nursing Service/Management
Nurse V, Director of Nursing Service, Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital
National Reviewer, Millennium Review Specialists

3. Florence Cawaon, EdD, RN
Concentration: Nursing Education/Management
Current Dean, College of Nursing, University of Baguio
Former Assistant to the President for Nursing Program & Dean of the School of Nursing, University of Baguio
Former Dean, College of Nursing, Baguio Central University
Former PRC Board Examiner

4. Carfredda Dumlao, PhD, RN
Concentration: Telehealth Nursing
Treasurer, Philippine National e-Learning Association, Inc.

The members of PRC BON will serve in a 3-year term or as soon as their successors have been appointed.

    She has been the dean of Benguet State University and the former of Dean of baguio Central University – College of Nursing…and the current Vice-President for Academic Affairs of Baguio Central University…salamat po.,
