Most nurses who saw the production number commented that it was inappropriate and disrespectful to the nursing profession.

PNA felt the same way, as they said in their reaction posted on Tuesday.

“It has offended our highly esteemed Filipino nurses who really work hard in order to uplift our profession to its highest level.”

“The PNA received numerous complaints and negative responses from our beloved Filipino nurses here and abroad,” it added.

The professional nursing organization called on the attention of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) to act on this issue.

  1. Reklamo -> Pagnanalo -> Pera… Entertainment is entertainment -.- No offense sa mga nurses pero OA tlga ang magreact ng ganyan. (Just an opinion Don't hate)

  2. i don't even like Eat Bulaga but IMO, it's kinda defensive on PNAs part where everyone knows that the show is in the spirit of entertainment, not because they are trying to represent nurses as a whole. what about cosplayers like sexy chefs, sexy maids and sexy professors dressing up on halloween or on events? nakakabastos din ba yon? what about stereotypes about men in uniform na malalaki ang tyan, bastos na rin ba? OA lang that's all sorry. don't hate. all opinions are welcome too 🙂

  3. ayyy nako eto nanaman po tayo mga pipols! hindi ba pwedeng chill lang at hindi seryosohin ang kung ano ano. tsk tsk. we should be more mature about it and just try to have fun like Eat Bulaga is doing!at mga nurses san po ba ang punta natin diba dito rin lang sa ibang bansa at dito its normal to see this all the time. lalo kung Halloween or kung may Customes parties!. hay buhay nga naman di na po tayo sa panahon nila maria clara and crisostomo ibarra!

  4. Ang OA. Sexy nurse ang motiff. Actually sexy professions yung peg ng lahat ng prods, i.e. waiters, nurses, etc. Ano'ng disrespectful sa nurses dyan? Ano yan, nagpapapansin lang para magka-issue?

  6. Eversince college kami, we are taught how to respect our Uniform and Caps ( Reference: Mastering Fundamentals of Nursing Page 7 By Udan). Our profession is noble and thankless for crying out loud! OA na kung OA ang PNA but PLEASE naman, if they want to wear our uniform for entertainment PLEASE suitin nyo naman yan RESPECTFULLY HINDI YUNG KABASTOS-BASTOS na naka-mini skirt at kita cleavage nyo!
