NDP 2016: DOH Region 6 opens online application

The Department of Health-Regional Office VI is now accepting applicants for Nurse 1 under its Nurse Deployment Project (NDP) 2016.

DOH will deploy Registered Nurses next year under the NDP program. This project is designed to improve local health systems that will support the country’s attainment of the Universal Health Care or “Kalusugan Pangkalahatan”. Nurses shall be hired under a contract of service and will be assigned in Rural Health Units in their localities or place of residence.

NDP nurses shall perform the functions of a Public Health Nurse. Likewise, they will be developed as trainers and supervisors of the Community Health Teams (CHTs ) of the DOH.

For Western Visayas, here are the qualifications for interested applicants as announced by Director Marlyn Convocar, MD, MPH, CESO IV:

Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
With updated PRC license as a registered nurse
With good moral character
Willing to be assigned within the province of residence.

Submission of online applications is on October 24-27, 2015 through: www.chd6.doh.gov.ph/e-recruitment.

All notifications on admission shall be sent through electronic mail.
