Critical Care Nursing Association of the Philippines Inc. (CCNAPI) announces that they are holding a nursing seminar/workshop this August with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units.
On August 1, 2019 the CCNAPI will be having the Program entitled “Fundamentals of Neurological Emergency Nursing Care” which is approved with 8 CPD Units.
CCNAPI is accredited CPD provider of PRC with provider number: 2009-019.
This is an 8 – hour program designed to facilitate the learning of nurses regarding the specialization of Neurovascular Nursing. The course will provide an overview of neuro-critical nursing care dynamics such as advanced Neuro anatomy and physiology and correct intervention. Likewise, it will hone the participants’ decision making skills during time sensitive events through case discussions.
Topics include: Neuro Anatomy and Physiology, Cranial Nerves, Assessment using NIHSS and NIHSS Certification, Focus Assessment and Physical Examination, Immediate Intervention, Medical Management, Nursing Management.
Workshop: Case Discussions – Application of BE FAST, Protocols and Thrombolytic Computation and Administration.
The seminar venue will be at RM 3D, Edificio Enriqueta Bldg, 422 NS Amoranto Corner D. Tuazon St. Quezon City.
